Argue This: Awareness of mass = beneficial (regarding road safety)

In road safety, an awareness of speed is an important factor to consider.
An awareness of momentum, brings an awareness to consider the mass, speed and direction of vehicles.
In road safety, an awareness of mass is one of the three factors to consider.
Argue This: Awareness of mass = beneficial (regarding road safety).

Argument:
(assume the accident is same for both)

A. If a small car tail-gates another small car, all travelling at 30mph and an accident occurs, whereby… one collides with the rear of the other:
….. a certain amount of injury and damage, could occur.

Now this:

B. If a large lorry tail-gates a small car, all travelling at 30 mph and an accident occurs, whereby… one collides with the rear of the other:
….. a greater amount of injury and damage, could occur.

Sooooo…
For the same speed, in an accident, a difference in the mass of a vehicle, brings about a difference in the potential injury and damage.

Drivers are responsible
for their vehicle’s
Mass, Speed and Direction (Momentum)
